BoxyLuxe By Boxycharm December 2018 Review
BOXYCHARM is a beauty subscription box that sends a box of beauty item worth over $100.00, for only $21.00 a month.
Each box contains 4 to 5 full-sized beauty products from well-known, chic, and up-and-coming brands. BOXYCHARM sends out full-size products, and each box always has a great value.
The new BoxyLuxe is an upgrade to the regular Boxycharm subscriptions. Boxes are $28.99/quarter and come with 11 items. Four of those items will be the featured spoilers from Boxycharm and 7 items will be other beauty products. The value of the BoxyLuxe box will be over $300.00.

First Look. The theme for December is “Tis the Sea Sun”.

The box was packed with items.
Crimes of Beauty Wristlet (+ Portable Charger) $22.00 The wristlet would be good as a beauty bag for your larger purses. There was also a portable phone charger. It works for Android and iPhones. I have seen reports about them overheating and sparking, so I may not use this.
Suva Beauty Protege Palette $34.00 This is a new palette that has two highlighters and size matter and shimmer shadows. The highlighters are gorgeous and would work great as eyeshadows too. Subscribers had a choice between this and the straightener.
The two highlighters are at the top and the eyeshadows are at the bottom.
Grande Cosmetics Grand Mascara $25.00 I love trying new mascaras. This one promises fuller lashes and length. I tried this out and I like how my lashes looked longer and curled. It did give me more volume, but not as much as other mascaras.
Pretty Vulgar Setting Powder $32.00 This was the one item I really wanted to receive in the December box. I have seen this featured on Tati's YouTube channel and have been wanting to try it. It also comes with a cute pink puff.
Tarteist Lip Paint in Insta Famous $20.00 This is a pink iridescent topper for your favorite lipstick. I love the look of this.

VIOLET VOSS HG PRO Eyeshadow Palette $45.00 I think this is the largest palette that I have received in a subscription. This has 20 different eyeshadows including matte and shimmer/metallic shades. You can create a variety of looks with this palette.
I couldn't swatch all the colors, but I did a couple from each row int he palette. All the colors are nice, but I am drawn to the metallic shades.
Spongelle Body Wash Infused Buffer $16.00 This is body wash and a buffer in one product! The body wash contains extracts of yuzu, edelweiss, and vetiver to clean, exfoliate and moisturize your skin. This has a wonderful floral scent.
Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Creme $89.00 This facial cream has a great value and works to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It smells spa quality and is made with Ginkgo bioba, rose, and mimosa.
Luxie Rose Gold Complete Face Brush Set $65.00 We have received Luxie brushes in the past but this is a full set. There are brushes to line and define your brows, lip brushes, foundation brush, highlighters brush, contour brush and more. These brushes do have a chemical smell, but they get better as they air out.
Final Thought: My box had a total value of $352.00. Boxyluxe is one of my favorite subscriptions. I received two palettes, a full set of brushes and the translucent powder. Use this link to subscribe to Boxycharm.
