The box was filled with little pieces of rainbow paper. It's a pretty extra in the box, but I am still finding rainbow pieces various places.
You can try Owl Post Books in November and get $5.00 off with the code GIFT5.
Space Dog by Mini Grey $12.59 Space Dog, Astrocat, and Mousetronaut all live in the same place but are enemies. They each travel to different planets (all food related) to help those in need. This book shows what happens when they all have to work together. I like the theme of this book, but the book got a bit long in parts and my son got restless. Overall, it was a cute story.
The Numberly's By William Joyce & Christina Ellis $9.87 The Numberly's lived in a plain grey world, filled with numbers. One day a few got together, broke some numbers apart and created letters. This book is pretty unique because you read it sideways. My son liked seeing how many words he could read in the book. This is a pretty quick read, but my son enjoyed it.
Suite for Human Nature $9.44 This book was my favorite book in the box. It's about Mother Nature and her desire to have a child. She creates Fear and asked the humans to take care of him, but becomes upset with what happens to the humans. She then keeps creating children: Envy, Hate, Greed, and Fickle. Eventually, Mother Nature creates twins, Love and she helps them all come together. This book has beautiful photos and a very meaningful story.
Pouch Children can color this pouch however they please, then store small toys or art supplies inside.
Final Thought: This box has a total value of $31.90. My kids love to read, so I enjoy book subscriptions to find new books my kids will enjoy. My son's favorite book this month was The Numberly's and it even sparked him to want to build new words with letters. If you are looking for a good Christmas gift for children, Owl Post Books would be a great pick!
