October 2018 Boxycharm Review

BOXYCHARM is a beauty subscription box that sends a box of beauty item worth over $100.00, for only $21.00 a month.

Each box contains 4 to 5 full-sized beauty products from well-known, chic, and up-and-coming brands. BOXYCHARM sends out full-size products, and each box always has a great value.

The new BoxyLuxe is an upgrade to the regular Boxycharm subscriptions. Boxes are $28.99/quarter and come with 11 items. Four of those items will be the featured spoilers from Boxycharm and 7 items will be other beauty products. The value of the BoxyLuxe box will be over $300.00.

The theme for October is “Alter Ego”. The information card unfolds to show what's in the box.

Pur The Complexion Authority Midnight Masquerade Palette Collaboration $38.00 This palette contains everything you need in one place. There is a highlighter, contour, blush and eyeshadows. I love that the icy blue exposed shade and the mask off green shade. I thought the colors performed beautifully and they didn't make a mess when swatched. I don't care much about mirrors in palettes, so this tiny mirror works for me.

Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick – Lolita $20.00 I don't have many Kat Von D product, but I am liking this liquid lipstick. The liquid lip applies easily and dries without feeling horrible on your lips. I received Lolita with is a darker nude shade that is great for fall.

Here are swatches of the liquid lipstick and palette shades.

It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara $24.00 This mascara promises to lengthen, condition and add volume to your lashes. I tried this mascara out, and I love it. I always curl my lashes before applied mascara, but I didn't need to do that with this product. My lashes look longer, more curled and beautiful without looking too over the top.

This is a look at the wand. It Cosmetics really picked a good one.

Farmacy Beauty Green Clean Meltaway Cleansing Balm $22.00 I was just watching the Ponds commercials and wanted to try the cream makeup remover. This product removed my waterproof eyeliner and mascara, without the need to vigorously rub my skin.

Dermovia Lace A Peel Bamboo Charcoal Sheet Mask $30.00 You apply the charcoal peel off mask, then cover it with the lace for added compression. The results are exfoliated and cleansed skin. This is a very expensive set of two masks, so they will be expensive to rreplace

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $134.00. I loved this box with the great mascara, palette, and mask. Each month this box impresses me, and you can't beat the value.
