KidBox is a clothing subscription box for children that you can try FREE. When you sign up, you will fill out a questionnaire about your child's likes and dislikes. You will be sent 6-7 name brand clothing pieces for $98.00 total. When you get your box, you have 7 days to decide to keep, exchange sizes or not purchase pieces. If you keep the whole box, your card will be charged $98.00 and KidBox will donate clothes to a child in need. You may select to keep only one or two pieces, or none at all, just be sure to make your selections within the 7 days. I love that there is no obligation to buy anything.
First Look
There is a clear packet in the box that includes some crayons, advertisements, letters stickers, return label and information guide.
The information guide includes pricing details for every clothing item in the box. You can buy individual pieces at a discounted rate, or buy the whole box for $98.00. If you don't love your box, you can return everything and pay nothing.
Kids Club Boys Henley Long Sleeve Shirt Kidsbox Price $28.00 I have two different Kidbox accounts, and I forgot to skip one. If you saw my past review, you will know I received this shirt already. I love this shirt because it's a classic shirt that can be worn dressy with khakis or dressed down with jeans. It fit great and I ended up keeping it in my other box.
KidsClub Boys Jogger Black Pants Kidsbox Price $26.00 Buying pants for my 9 year old is very difficult. These would've been fine for the length, but they were much too big around the waist. They have a faux drawstring, so there was no way to adjust these.
This is a closer look at the waistband of the pants.
French Toast Boys Camo Pocket Tee Kidsbox Price $9.00 This is another shirt we received in our other box. My son loves camo, so this is another item we decided to keep from the other box.
Vignette Boys Hooded Tee Kidsbox Price $30.00 This says it's a size 8, but it fits like a 4. It's super small, so I am not sure if the company sizes their clothes small or it was mistagged. Either way, this was way too small.
Puma Boys French Terry Cotton Jogger Kidsbox Price $29.00 I was excited to see a Puma brand clothing item in the box. These are super soft and are great for a kid who loves camo colors. Unfortunately, these were way too big since they were just an elastic waist.
French Toast Boys Basic Pull-On Pant Kidsbox Price $15.00 Great looking pair of pants, but I am sure you can guess how these fit. These have a faux drawstring waist, so they were way too big. I really hate faux drawstring. If you are going to go to the trouble to make a faux drawstring, make a real one instead, or don't make one at all.
Guess Boys Logo Tee Kidsbox Price $17.00 I like this shirt. It's a great color and the pattern is nice. It's going into fall and we have so many short sleeve shirts already, that I didn't think we really needed this one.
The box came with a free water bottle for your child. This is a free gift, regardless of what clothes you keep. The bag is for all the clothes you decide to return.
Final Thought: This box was a big miss for me. I did love two of the shirts, but since this was a duplicate account, I already had the shirts. None of the pants worked, because none of them were adjustable. I wish they could include an option to personalize clothing choices if you are smaller or larger than regular sizes. Even though this box didn't work out for us, I still enjoy this subscription. You can try this service FREE and use my referral link to save $25.00 on your first box.
