Adults & Crafts is a craft subscription for adults. Boxes are $33.00/month (plus shipping) and come with all the materials to complete a project or projects. Each box will explore techniques like woodworking, staining, painting, and more. First Look
Each box comes with an information card with the materials included, materials needed and detailed instructions. As with beginning any project, you should read the entire instructions before beginning.
The October 2018 Project is an Autumn Wreath
The Supplies
Darice Burlap Accents There is a full roll of burlap in the box. This is to wrap around the wreath.
Straw Wreath The wreath is made of straw. This craft can be messy, so be sure you are working in an area that's easy to clean.
Pinecones These three pinecones smell great and are ready to be glued to the wreath.
Flowers: Of course, the focal point of the wreath is going to be a mix of flowers and leaves. I love the combination of purple, reds, and oranges.
Hot Glue Gun and Glue I like it when I get items in a subscription box that I can use again and again.
Crafting
To begin the craft, you cut the burlap in all the sizes given on the information sheet.
You make a bow and wrap the burlap around the wreath, then use the glue gun to make the bow and the wreath. Once the wreath is covered in burlap, you can start decorating.
This is my finished wreath. I loved how it turned out. I didn't take any more pictures of crafting the wreath, because I had so much fun making the wreath.
Final Thought: I love crafting and this box was perfect for fall. The box included everything I needed and the directions were easy to understand.
