First Look

The theme for August is “Brick Odyssey: Episode 1 The Wrath of Snot”.

Each box comes with a new story. When you get to a red brick, you stop and build the challenge build. This month, the story is about three space pilots, right out of the Booster Bricks Space Program when Ambassador Snot lands to destroy the planet.

This is the graphic for this month's box.

If you want to skip the story, there is a breakdown of the projects on a card.

Challenge #1 Using the Premier Challenge pack, build the B.B.S AFOL spaceship, which was the ship assigned to one of the pilots. My 6-year-old made this and I love how it turned out. It's currently being displayed.

Challenge #2 Using the pieces given in your Minifigure Challenge pack, along with any pieces from your own collection, build Ambassador Snot. Ambassador snot is the evil guy in the story and my son had so much fun laughing at him. This guy looks evil with fire coming out of his hand. I love the flag on his head.

Challenge #3 Using the pieces in your Microbuild challenge pack, build an escape pod. This escape pod has a cool design. I love watching my son design things.

Challenge #4 This is the blindfold challenge. Put on a blindfold and set the timer for 5 minutes, then build the ship's keyboard.

Challenge #5 Using the Spotlight Piece and up to 15 other pieces, build the Minifig Planet. The featured piece was a smiley face brick, so it made for a cute planet.

Final Thought: My son loved the story, especially Ambassador Snot! My kids love this subscription because it lets them be creative. You can check Booster Bricks at this link.
