I received the Fun & Tasty box for review.
First Look. There is not an information card in the box. All the information about the snacks in the box is found online.
Umai Wa (Cheese) L size Similar to a puffy Cheeto, but in the shape of an onion ring. They have a tangy, slightly sweet cheesy flavor that is very tasty. I am still munching on them as I write this review.
Natsu No Usuyaki Country Maam Lemon Cheese I didn't know lemon cheesecake even existed until now. These are individually wrapped cookies that taste like lemon cheesecake. I am not a huge cheesecake fan, so these weren't my favorite snack.
Kikori No Kirikabu This is a banana biscuit is covered in chocolate. I couldn't taste much chocolate, but it reminded me of banana pudding with vanilla wafers that my mom made as a child. This was slightly melted, but it tasted amazing.
Sapporo Potato (BBQ Flavor) These actually look like breakfast cereal with their wafer/checked look. The bbq flavor isn't an American bbq flavor, but more of a soy sauce/salty taste.
Umai Bo is a crunchy puffed snack that is flavored in different ways. There were three different flavors in the box.
Tokyo Umai Bo (Cinnamon Apple Pie) This was sweet with an apple/cinnamon flavor.
Umai Bo (Corn Potage) This is a creamed corn version of Umai Bo.
Umai Bo (Teriyaki Burger) This was the saltiest version of the three. This tasted like teriyaki and was quite good.
Ami Age Arare Sour Cream These chips look like French fries that are seasoned with sour cream and onion powder. My husband loves these and took the remaining snack to work.
Pure Gummy Sio Lime Soda These gummies are chewy and a bit tart. They have a classic tart lime soda flavor and were a hit with all my kids.
Funyarich Soft Candy (Grape) Stretchy like taffy, this grape candy is fun and tasty at the same time. Japanese grape flavored candy has a tangy taste that's a bit different from American candy. I like it better than American grape candy.
Shimi Choco Corn Stick This is similar to Umai Bo, but it tastes like a chocolate brownie. I have had the cookie version, but this stick form is fun too.
Nazo No 5syu Maze Fruits Caramel While I am not a caramel fan, these fruity caramels are very tasty. They are a harder caramel, but very flavorful.
Caramel Corn (Choco Mint) This is a new flavor. This is a puffy popcorn snack that is coated in mint chocolate chip flavor. It's very different but tasty. It's similar to popcorn mixed with Thin Mint cookies.
Final Thought: I enjoyed all the snacks from this box. The lemon cheesecake snack wasn't my favorite, but it was fun to try. I generally love salty snacks, so the Umai Wa was my favorite snack, though the apple Umai Bo was fantastic. Wowbox is currently having a summer sale!
