First Look
There is a detailed information sheet about the items in the box. The theme for August is “Amazing Grace”. The scripture for this month comes from Romans 5:8 “God demonstrated His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners Christ died for us.”
Blackboard Plaque $9.99 I really enjoy getting home decor in my subscription boxes. This plaque features the verse the box is themed after. This is a great reminder of what Christ did. This is going up in my living room.
Olive Wood Cross of Jerusalem This wasn't mentioned on the information sheet. This cross is from Jerusalem and a symbol of eternal life. You can keep this in your pocket as a symbol of God's love.
The back of the card explains the cross and God's eternal love for us.
Waking Up to Grace – 90 Ways to Start Your Day Knowing You Are Loved $12.99 Start your morning with the Lord with this 90 day devotional. Each devotion is a two-page story to help bring you closer to God. There is also a place to note your name and date.
Amazing Grace Timeless Hymns of Faith $5.99 est Each Bette's box included a new cd. This one has some old favorites like “I Surrender All”, “Amazing Grace” and “What A Friend We Have In Jesus”. These stay in my car and are my way of dealing with crazy drivers and traffic. It's hard to get angry when you are listening to praise and worship music.
As You Wish by Mercy Lokulutu $11.19 Are you willing to surrender your life to God? This book explores how surrendering to God gives us the ability to move behind the paint and struggle life throws at us. The author uses her own past experiences growing up in Nigeria to show us how to surrender to God.
Fair Hope Cards $14.95 Each box contains a pack of greeting cards. This month's card contains cards centered around encouragement. All my cards go in an accordion folder, so I can easily find a card I am looking for.
Bette's Box of Blessings August 2018 Review

I loved this box, my second. I have already read this months book “As You Wish, I would rate it a 5-star book. Some pages were so good that I wanted to read it a second time before I went to the next page. Their products are so useful, encouraging for myself and others. Last month ( July 2018 ) I am still on the ” My Bible Study Journal 180 Encouraging Bible Reading for Women Along with the beautiful bible with margins for taking notes, I could even color in it if I wanted to. the cards are so beautiful, I didn’t think I would be using any, but I have sent out several already.
