WowBox Kawaii and Beauty April 2018 Review
WOWBOX is a Japanese candy subscription starting at $14.99/month. They have five different themes of boxes: Fun & Tasty (regular or large), Kawaii & Beauty (regular or large), New & Limited (regular or large), and Dagashi (small only-best value!). There is a new Trial Tasting (one size only) as well.
Fun and Tasty boxes are filled with all the fun, tasty, and weird treats Japan is known for. Kawaii & Beauty boxes are filled with low-calorie treats beauty enhancing snacks, bath items (NEW!) and candies with Kawaii characters. New & Limited are brand new, never before seen flavors, anime tie-ins, and one time only treats that sell out fast. Dagashi is an assortment of the newest dagashi, and a sensible balance of hard candies, gummies, chocolates, and savory snacks.

There are also 3, 6, and 12 month plans. You can switch your box theme and change size at any time. A pop-up will tell you when the change will be applied.

WowBox comes in a large, sturdy box. Each type of box has its own color scheme.
First Look
Olive Oil Jitate No Sio Senbei Herb & Vinegar Senbei comes in several different flavors and so far, this one is my favorite. This is a crunchy cracker with a toasted, vinegar, Italian taste. Each cracker is individually wrapped, so they stay fresh longer.
Pure Supple Gummy These gummies come in grapefruit, lemon, and blueberry. They were a hit with my kids.
Hapi Gra Rich Coconut Since this had coconut, I wasn't sure I would like these. Each little bite is very nutty and crunchy with just a hint of coconut.
RICE STYLE Sea Salt Any snack that I can use with a dip is a win for me. These have a toast rice flavor and tasted great with natural salsa.
Oil In Cuticle Pusher Pen One of the fun things about this subscription is the beauty items. This handy cuticle pusher will go right with my nail tools.
Welch's Noukou Kajitsu No Healthy CUBE Grape juice meats jelly cubes in this treat! These taste just like the juice, plus they contain vitamins and minerals.
Fruits Saison Hitokuchi Sweets Rare Cheese Cake Flavor I have never had a lemon on cheesecake, but the combination tastes great. These are a very soft chew and it tastes just like a dessert.
Frugra Thunder Oh, these were so tasty. This bar is made of chocolate, with crispy rice and berries. This is a great snack for your purse when you need a snack.

Face masks are a great way to pamper yourself when you are short on time. The white grape and strawberry makes work to improve the look of your skin.
Chocotto Rilakkuma Caramel Flavor Rilakkuma is a very popular Japanese bear and this one is caramel flavored.
Gudetama Choco Gudetama is another popular character and this little candy is chocolate flavored.
