Fuego Box is a hot sauce of the month club that sends craft and small-batch hot sauces. Fuego Box sends truly tasty and dynamic sauces, and they refuse to send “insane heat, gimmicky labeling, and extract-based sauce”
When you subscribe to Fuego Box, you will get a special introductory box with a mini-tasting notebook, 2 full-sized sauces, and a few samples (Read the Introductory Box Review Here). Your 2nd box and on includes 3 full-sized hot sauces.

June Box – All Screaming Mimi Fuego Box
This box is a collection of the best sauces from the 2018 NYC Hot Sauce Expo.
Friendly Fire Guava + Habanero Winner of the 2018 Grand Champion. This company strives to make a flavorful hot sauce, not one that will burn your mouth. They are based out of Seattle and created this hot sauce with guava and habanero. This was the first one I tried out and it was amazing. It's a nice fruity hot sauce with a little kick. I tried it straight, just on a spoon. This will be my go-to hot sauce for skillet chicken, tacos and more.
High River Sauces Green Manalishi Steve Seabury created this fabulous sauce. Steve is the founder of the NYC Hot Sauce Expo. This is a medium level hot sauce that is great on steaks, fish, tacos, and chicken. I am not a big fan of green sauces, so I am sharing this with a friend.
Dirty Dick's Hot Pepper Sauce This is the other 2018 Grand Champion. Dirty Dick's Hot Pepper Sauce also won last year. This sauce combines Habanero peppers, mangoes, bananas, pineapple, tropical raisins and freshly ground spices. This can be used as a dip, or sauce for pizza, tacos, and wings. I love the sweetness in this hot sauce. This is a decently hot sauce, with a rating of 21,000 on the Scoville Scale. I am not a serious hot sauce connaisseur, so this had just the right amount of heat for my tastes.
Final Thought: The two 2018 Grand Champions sauces were fantastic. I am sure the green manlishi is great too, but I am going to gift that one. After watching several episodes of Hot Ones on YouTube, I am wanted to get a selection of Fuego Box sauces and do the hot wings challenge at home. If you enjoy a good hot sauce, check out Fuego Box.
