Booster Bricks usually ships in a colorful box, but it was a plain brown one with this month.

First Look

There was a mix up with the regular box supplier, so they had to use the brown box. The box included a green base plate as a bonus gift.

The theme for May is “True Brick”.

Each box comes with a new story. When you get to a red brick, you stop and build the challenge build. This month, the story is about a wild west town, a prankster and a guy trying to get the train to not pass through this LEGO town.

There is a colorful card and sticker in each box. The card breaks down all the challenges for a quick overview.

Challenge #1 Using the pieces in the premier challenge pack, build the Train the brings the Legolians to Brick Creek.

My 9 year old completed this challenge and it turned out so great!

Challenge #2 Using the mini figure in the box, build the Sheriff of Brick Creak.

My 6 year old did this challenge. He included handcuffs at first but decided the Prankster put him in handcuffs.

Challenge #3 The 3rd challenge was to take the pieces provided and create a candy machine.

My 6 year old also completed this challenge. He stacked up the bricks, then added a cover black piece for the gumball machine.

This is a closer look at the candy machine.

Challenge #4 This challenge uses the spotlight piece, plus 15 other pieces to create a railroad switch.

The spotlight piece was a little gearshift.

I decided to do this challenge. I attempted to make two sets of track and the railway switch. I think it turned out okay.

Challenge #5 The last build was the blindfold challenge. Using the pieces provided, create the Sheriff's belt buckle in 5 minutes.

This is the first blindfold challenge that I have completed. It was harder than I thought, but it turned out pretty good.

Final Thought: I really enjoyed the wild west theme. The blindfold challenge was my favorite challenge. The box comes with several different LEGO bricks, so once the box is done, there are several pieces to add to your collection. I like that this encourages kids to use their imagination.
