KidBox is a clothing subscription box for children that you can try FREE. When you sign up, you will fill out a questionnaire about your child's likes and dislikes. You will be sent 6-7 name brand clothing pieces for $98.00 total. When you get your box, you have 7 days to decide to keep, exchange sizes or not purchase pieces. If you keep the whole box, your card will be charged $98.00 and KidBox will donate clothes to a child in need. You may select to keep only one or two pieces, or none at all, just be sure to make your selections within the 7 days. I love that there is no obligation to buy anything.
KidBox comes in a white box with their colorful logo.
First Look
You are sent a return address label and a bag to mail back items in.
There is an information book has an introduction to the box on the front.
Inside there is a list of everything in the box, the retail price and what you can buy the box for.
Andy + Evan Boys Cactus Print Pocket Tee Retail Price $35.00 Kidbox Price $27.00 I love this top for summer! I am dreaming of hot weather. I love the dark blue color and the pops of green. It even has a pocket for small items.
Andy + Evan Boys Twill Shorts Retail Price $39.00 Kidbox Price $30.00 These shorts have a faux belt, but they have an adustable waist. My son is average height, but super skinny. We adjusted these to the smallest notch but they were still too big.
The outfit did look great together, but we had to switch out the shorts.
Paper Denim & Cloth Boy Straight Leg Dark Wash Jean Retail Price $54.00 Kidbox Price $41.00 These jeans are a slim fit, but they fit like a regular fit. They have a real belt and they are adjustable. They were a tad big, but since it's getting warmer, it a pair he will be able to wear this fall.
The wash on these jeans is pretty trend, and I like the belt.
DKNY Boys Chambray Flecked Button Front Shirt Retail Price $44.00 Kidbox Price $36.00 This is the first button down black shirt that my son owns. It looks very grown up on him. The shirt is covered in different colored paint spots.
This outfit looked great together and will be perfect this fall or this summer if it doesn't stop snowing.
Eland Boys Lobster Tee Retail Price $21.00 Kidbox Price $16.00 While I have never been a fan of white shirts for kids, I love this one. The lobster is cute and perfect for summer and pineapple is pretty fun too.
DKNY Boys Poplin Cargo Short Retail Price $21.00 Kidbox Price $16.00 These are a nice staple piece, but the elastic waistband is a no go for us. My son has to have an adjustble waist, so we had to exchange these too.
The shorts and the top made a great summer look!
There was also a newpaper with KidBox articles, stickers, fun surprises and some crayons. You can check out my unboxing here, to see the surprise ball we received.
My Exchanges. I selected to keep everything in the box, and exchange the two pairs of shorts. If the size you need isn't an option at checkout, email them. I reached out to their customer service and they set up the exchange, and I just had to send back the two pairs I didn't want.
French Toast Knit Waist Pull On Short These navy pants has an elastic waist, but a real drawstring, I requested a size smaller, because shorts tend to be a size smaller than my son's pants. These fit well and are comfortable too.
The other pair is the same same size, color and brand as the blue. They fit great and look cute with the lobster tee.
Final Thought: This box had a total retail value of $229.00, KidBox price of $178.00. You can keep any amount of items you want, but if you keep everything, you only pay $98.00. You can try this service FREE and use my referral link to save $25.00 on your first box. I ended up using a referral link for my box, so I paid only $78.00.
