My Imagination Mail has one of the best boxes for kids!
First Look
There was an official letter in the box that is addressed to the child. The April box introduces Mother Earth, and April Rains. I was happy to meet April Rains, because Jack Frost has overstayed his welcome here.
There was also a letter to the grown-up help, with a list of all the items in the box. Each activity also has listed what skills your child will work on.
There was a calendar on top!
There were calendars for April and May in the box. The calendars are filled with fun and important holidays.
Blank Cards, Envelopes and Markers I think my kids used all the cards from last month's box. These will probably be used for my birthday, and letter to grandparents. My kids love making cards and I love not having to go to the store to buy them.
Darice Spring Sticker Book $4.21 I love stickers, and my children do too. There are 308 stickers in this book. You can use them for crafts at home and maybe even share a sheet or two with your child's teacher.
The book has three different designs and two of each design.
Earth Mosaics Craft Kit $2.00 This craft was included to help celebrate Earth Day. I didn't count how many stickers were in the kit, but there were many. This is a great craft to work on fine motor skills.
My 6 year old and I worked on this craft together. My son was a bit overwhelmed with all the stickers that needed to be applied, but once he started, it was an easy craft. We had a great time completing it together.
We hung it up in the playroom area.
Sands Alive! The Sand Box $12.99 My kids love sand, but I love looking at it from a beach. This is kinetic sand, which is the best kind of sand for kids to play with indoors. It sticks together to play with and is very soft.
Sands Alive! Jungle Animals My boys were excited to play with the sand and use these toys. There are molds for an elephant, lion and monkey. There was also an arrow and I think the green thing is a tool.
My Fairy Tale Talk Topics for Dinner Conversation Starters Dinner time is when the craziness stops and we can all sit and enjoy each other's company. There were four two-sided cards to use as conversation starters. My boys had a nice time talking about these at dinner. My boys usually go through a set of conversation cards we received from a kid's meal, but we have used them so often, they are getting boring. It was great to get a fresh set or cards.
I Love Rainy Days! (Noodles: Scholastic Reader, Level 1) $3.20 My youngest is finishing preschool, so this is a good book for him to work on. It's about a fun dog that lists all the things he can do, though he makes a big mess doing them. The book reminded me a bit of my kids.
Collectible Pin Each box contains a new pin, so my youngest son has decided to collect these on his backpack.
Earth Bouney Ball My kids love taking balls down to our basement to throw around. Good thing there isn't anything too breakable down there.
Grow A Little Star $11.20 I usually say we will probably kill any plant that comes in our house, but currently we are up to three living indoor plants. This little planter uses chia seeds, so it's pretty easy. This includes everything your child needs to grow a plant.
Pick Up Snakes $8.88 This was my personal favorite in the box. I love snakes, and I would have a pet one, if I could get the rest of the family on board. I am suggesting this game during our next game night.
Final Thought: This box was fun, educational and was great for rainy and snowy days. My kids loved the sand, while I loved the pick up snakes game. If you want to subscribe, use the coupon SBM25 to save 25% on your 1st box. You can also enter to win a box by entering below!
