Sensory TheraPlay Box February 2018 Review

Sensory TheraPlay Box is a subscription box filled with sensory toys for kids.  Boxes are $39.95/month and come with 5-8 sensory toys/ items in each box. Items are designed for kids on the autism spectrum or who have sensory processing needs.  Items are chosen to encourage the development of important sensory motor skills and are calming/ therapeutic. All items are selected by an Occupational Therapist, so you know the toys will be appropriate!

First Look. A note, since my little one's birthday is coming up, I kept the products in the packaging.

Smart Knit Kids Socks $10.95 These socks have no seams, so they are easy to slip on. Once they are on, they won't irritate your little one's toes and they won't bunch up either. The top of the sock is free from tight elastic, so there is nothing to irritate the skin.

Yogibo Aroma-Mate $15.00 This stuffed panda can be heated in the microwave, so it's a warm soothing stuffed animal for you child. The panda is stuffed with lavender so it has a nice scent, but it's not too strong. You can also freeze this for boo boos or a cooling lovie in the summer.

Neon Inside Out Ball $4.25 This is a squishy ball that can be turned inside out to reveal a spiky ball. This can be squished or thrown without hurting anything. This is a nice quiet toy that would be great for those moments when kids need to be quieter.

Kikkerland Rainbow Twirler $8.18 Your child can spin this between their fingers to watch the rainbow pattern of the toy. My 5 year old loves toys like this.

Crazy Aaron's Patinum Thinking Putty $10.00 We have received putty from Crazy Aaron's before and it's such a fun toy. You can pull, twist and play with this putty, and it will always return back to its putty form. We received “pure platinum”, which is a sparkly silver color. This is a great toy for fine motor skills and it works well in school settings as a fidget.

Yogibo Squeezibo Mates $7.00 This little plush bat has a square ball in the center that is squeezable. This is like a plush stress ball. It's cute and very fun.

Zip It's $3.99 This bracelet has a real zipper that you can zip and unzip. This is a neat bracelet, but this bracelet doesn't stay zipped all the way around. I am going to reach out to the box and I am sure they will send a replacement.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of this box was $59.37. The Crazy Aaron's putty, Aroma Mates and the socks. This is one of my son's favorite boxes. You can use the coupon welcome to save 10% on your subscription.
