Boxycharm January 2018 Review
BOXYCHARM is a beauty subscription box that sends a box of beauty item worth over $100.00, for only $21.00 a month. Each box contains 4 to 5 full-sized beauty products from well-known, popular, chic, and up-and-coming brands. BOXYCHARM only sends out full size products, and each box always has a great value.
Boxycharm ships in a black box.
The theme for January is “Rock 2018”.
Crown Glam Metals Palette $25.00 This is one of two great palettes in this box. This is a set of 9 metallic eyeshadows. I love Punk, Rebel, Heavy Metal and Pop Rock. They are the most shimmery and pretty shadows in the box. I really enjoyed every color except Black Metal. I felt it was a bit too grey.
These are swatches for all the colors.
PUR Bronze and Brighten Palette $34.00 This was my favorite item in the box. “Mineral Glow” is a beautiful highlight, while “Afterglow” is a shimmery bronzer. The blush shade is “Blushing Glow”.
Each of these shadows swatch so easily and are so pigmented. I love these colors!
Dr. Brandt Skincare Pores No More Luminizer Primer $38.00 This primer helps to make pores less noticable and give your skin a glow. The box came with a little card with all the ingredients in the product.
Brow Power™ Universal Eyebrow Pencil $25.00 This eyebrow pencil works with any hair color, just change how much pressure you use while applying it. There is a little spoolie on one end and the pencil on the other.
Girlactik Liquid Lipstick in Posh This liquid lipstick is a neutral shade with some peach undertones. I love the formula because it didn't feel too dry on my lips. I don't love the color, since I tend to wear more bold lipsticks.
These are swatches of the liquid lipstick and the eyeliner.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $144.00. I loved the two palettes in this month's box. I am a huge fan of Dr. Brandt, so I am always happy with any product from that company.
