First Look
Santa's Bath Bomb Recipe I have been wanting to make my own bath bombs for a long time, but never knew how. In addition to the ingredients in the box, you need baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch and Epsom salt. I am going to try to find some Epsom salt locally and make these. This could help with my Lush addiction. To make these scented, you can use the peppermint essential oil or a combination of pin and cinnamon.
Rudolf's Pine Cone Home Freshener You can use regular pine cones and turn them into an air freshener. You just need to supply the pine cones and a gallon Ziploc bag. These would be great as a centerpiece or you could hang on in the corner of a room.
Gingerbread House Diffuser Blend (listed on the back): Mix 3 drops of cinnamon with 2 drops of peppermint for an outstanding smell.
Peppermint Lip Scrub It's winter, and that means dry skin. This lip scrub is made with honey, almond oil, sugar and peppermint essential oil. You just need to supply the honey and sugar! This is a great recipe to keep and make as gifts.
Candy Cane Diffuser Blend (listed on the back) This recipe combines 3 drops of fir essential oil, 1 drop of peppermint and 1 drop of cinnamon.
Simply Earth Cinnamon Essential Oil is a great essential oil for runny noses, and colds. You can also use this for ichy skin from bug bites. It's cold and flu season and I have already been sick. I put this in my diffuser and it helped me sleep when I was really sick.
Simply Earth Fir Needle Essential Oil Fir needle is pretty unique, because you can use this in your cleaning products as a deodorizer or be applied topically to relieve pain.
Simply Earth Pine Essential Oil Pine can be used to help with pain associated with arthritis, rheumatism, and muscle pain. This is also a nice essential oil to diffuse after a long day.
Simply Earth Peppermint Essential Oil A December essential oil box wouldn't be complete without peppermint. It's a great scent for the holidays and it helps with respiratory problems. I have already diffused this one as well around my home. Tis the season to be sick!
There were two small contains to put your own blend of essential oils in or you can use the recipes in the box. The little jar is for your lip scrub.
Almond Oil The only recipe listed in the box that used almond oil was the lip scrub, but you can use almond oil in your hair or for a massage.
Bath Bomb Mold This mold will mold all of your bath bombs. I can't wait to get some Epsom salt so I can make a few.
