The book inside the box contained activities, games and the brick story. The book has a featured story and has you read, you complete different build challenges.

Booster Bricks

The story for November was The Canoe Conundrum.  Anywhere you see a red brick, that's a new brick challenge.

Build a Bear Trap

Challenge #1 Take the spotlight piece of the month and build a bear trap with just 15 other LEGO pieces.

Booster Bricks

The trap opens and has a the spotlight piece in the bottom of the trap. When the bear steps on the spotlight piece, the trap closes.

Blindfold Challenge

Build a canoe

Challenge #2 The dark blue bag was filled with various LEGO bricks.  The challenge was to build a canoe to cross a river, but you must be blindfolded.

L did really well with the challenge.  This is an elaborate canoe, especially while blindfolded.

Challenge #3

Challenge #3 The next challenge was to dress Frankie to represent the town or place you come from.

Booster Bricks

You could use pieces from your collection, or use the box.

L selected the helmet because there is racing where we live. The coffee cup was selected because we drink lots of coffee here and the telescope because we live in the country.

Challenge #4 This was the biggest bag of bricks in the box. The challenge was to make a campfire and campsite where the pow wow can occur.

Booster Bricks

L really loved this challenge. The campsite is on the left, with the sleeping bags and cots in the middle. The platform on the right has seating, a firepit and a tornado siren.

Final Thought: This was a fun subscription and I love the new changes.  This box comes with enough blocks for the challenge, but extras for your own building projects. This is a great subscription for LEGO lovers. Right now there is a waitlist, but it's opening up soon, just check Booster Bricks at this link.
