First Look
Sensory Thereaplay includes an information card with pictures, names and descriptions for everything in the box.
Mixed By Me Thinking Putty Holographic Kit $20.00 This kit was my 5 year old's favorite item. It comes with five tins of clear putty, three glitter concentrates, three sparkle effect putties, and an instructional mat. The putty is unique, because it won't dry out! This toy is great for fine motor skills, since your child will knead and stretch the putty. This can stick to fabrics and carpet, so be sure to supervise your child when playing with this putty.
The mat unfolds to have three areas to mix putty. Each putty comes in its own tin. There are stickers and colored pencils, so your child can label each putty they create. The rectangle tin contains 7 different glitters to mix with the putty.
The other side of the mat has mixing recipes to make different colored glittered putties.
There are easy to follow instructions with pictures on the side of the box.
Tangle Jr $4.43 I actually bought one of these a few years ago for myself. This is a great fidget toy and it's quiet. This is a perfect toy for restaurants or other quiet places. They sections of the toy also unsnap, which is a great fine motor activity,
Slime Suckers $5.70 This was another favorite toy. Your child squeezes the alien head and he will suck up the slime. Release the alien, and he will spit it back out. This can get a bit messy, so this is a great toy to play with at a table. Squeezing the alien head will help strengthen small hands.
This is the alien in action.
Tumble Wonder $9.00 This fidget is 3.5″ tall and is weighted slightly off-center. You can push this forward and watch it tumble over and over. This is a bit tricky, but it's great at visual motor and bilateral coordination.
Popling $3.25 This little creature has suction cups on its feet and nose. It can stick to multiple places and when you remove it from windows or bathtubs, it makes a fun popping noise. This is non toxic and made of food grade silicon. This guy is named Tong!
Kiddos U-Lace $3.49 each These laces are awesome. Often, kids with sensory issues can be particular with their shoes. These laces let you have the look of a tied shoe, without the need of tying them. Each end of the lace has a plastic piece that keeps the lace from coming out of the shoe. These two packs were a bonus in the box.
There was also a card with a quote from Winnie the Pooh “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and loved more than you know”. This cute little quote makes a good bookmark, so a cute decoration in your child's room.
Final Thought: This box has a total value of $49.36. This subscription is my 5 year old's favorite box, hands down. My son loved the Aaron's putty kit and has played with it almost every day since he received it. This is a great box to help kids with sensory issues, fine motor delays, ADHD, autism and more. This is one of the best subscription boxes for children. You can use the coupon welcome to save 10% on your subscription.
