Fall 2017 Yuzen Subscription Box Review
Yuzen is a quarterly eco-friendly subscription box that sends various natural and organic lifestyle products. Boxes are $33.00 and are delivered in the spring, summer, fall and winter. Yuzen says they “send a little zen every season”. I was sent the Winter 2015 Yuzen box for review.
The Details:
Cost: $33.00/Quarter
Shipping: Yuzen ships to the US only.
What's in the box? Each box contains a new and different variety of premium lifestyle products (skincare, household, gourmet treats and more!).
Everything shipped in a brown box.
There was an information booklet on top and everything was wrapped in pretty tissue paper.
When you open the booklet, there are descriptions for all the products in the box.
All the products were tucked in a little bag.
GOOD SPREAD Natural Peanut Butter $1.00 This peanut butter is mixed with honey and doesn't contain any gmos, artificial colors, flavors, parabens, petroleum, formaldehyde or fragrance. This is an individual use sample, so I will save this for my breakfast one morning.
NEW CHAPTER Perfect Hair, Skin & Nails $12.23 These capsules are made with biotin, organic algae, aloe and astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is a nutrient from plants that helps maintain a youthful appearance.
POO-POURRI Before-You-Go Toilet Spray $4.99 You spray this essential oil blend before you go to the bathroom, and it traps the odor in the toilet. I have two boys, so I have used a similar product before, and it works! This small size is perfect for on the go when you really need to go!
RED FLOWER Ocean Cleansing Shampoo and Conditioner $5.91 each This shampoo and conditioner combo contains essential oils to retain moisture, prevent split ends and strengthen hair. It's vegan, cruelty free, biodegradable and ethically sourced.
SAVANNAH BEE COMPANY Tupelo Honey Beeswax & Propolis Lip Balm $3.50 This lip balm is made with coconut, olive, cocoa, and hemp. This keeps your lips soft and moisturized with organic beeswax. This is organic, cruelty free and from from gmos, parabens, petroleum, sulfates, formaldehyde and anything artificial.
SHAMANUTI Activated Charcoal Cleanser $14.50 This charcoal cleanser has all the benefits of charcoal cleansers, without all the mess. This is safe for all skin types. You can use this on acne, rosacea, and eczema.
SHRAY SKINCARE Go-Getter Goddess Rose-Infused, Anti-Aging, and Skin-Regenerating Mask $6.00 This mask contains acerola extract, licorice root extract, and rose oil to moisturize, remove redness, reduce cellular aging, and lighten dark spots. Just apply the sheet mask, leave on for 10-15 minutes and there is no need to rinse.
TORIE & HOWARD Chewie Fruities $1.19 These candies are like a healthy Starburst, with out all the junk. These are USDA certified organic, and free from dairy, nuts, soy and wheat. These are so tasty.
There were a few coupons for some of the brands in the box.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $49.23. This box was filled with a variety of skin care, body and food items. The charcoal cleanser was my favorite item. It deeply cleanses my skin, without being messy. This was a great box for people who want more natural, organic items. You can check out Yuzen here.
