First Look
The theme for September is “Titanic Voyage”. The sticker is always themed to go with the box.
The back of the information card has a list of everything in the box, along with pictures and descriptions.
There was a two sided information sheet about Titanic. It was filled with 40 facts about the titanic.
Baseplate There was a blue baseplate to represent the ocean.
Light Up Brick I love the light up block to go with the blue baseplate. There is an on/off switch, but my block didn't work upon arrival. I have never have had problem with my light up bricks before. I just need to find a new battery.
Exclusive 100% LEGO Build Designed by Dave Pickett Dave runs the YouTube channel Brick 101 and the author of The LEGO Animation Book. I don't know how a shark fits in with a Titanic theme, but it is a cool build. There was only 58 pieces, so it was really easy to put together.
The shark's mouth can open and close.
Titanic Ship This build has 194 pieces! This build was pretty hard. My husband ended up finishing the piece. We had some issues with some pieces popping apart, so we had to result in using Kragle.
Captain I.C. Berg This custom minifigure is made of 100% real LEGOs. United Bricks makes custom outfits for real LEGO bricks.
Here is Captain I.C. Berg.
This is our finished Titanic with Captain I.C. Berg.
Final Thought: I really loved the theme this month, but the Titanic ship was pretty hard to put together. I was also disappointed that our light up brick didn't work. The shark was a great build and one both of my kids loved. Use this link with the code kidceo to save $5.00.
