First Look. The theme for this month is “Brighten” . The box is curated by “Mia Cuff”, PR guru, wife, and she has a large Instagram account.
Rifle Paper Co Greeting Cards $16.00 Rifle Paper Company has some of the prettiest stationary products. Each pack contains 2 cards of each of the four designs in the pack.
This pack is called “Happy” and contains the following cards:
- Don't Worry Be Happy
- Relax It's Your Birthday
- When Life Leaves You Lemons…
- Thank You So Very Much
I like that this pack has a variety of different cards. I keep a box of cards hand for those last-minute parties or events.
Bryt Combed Cotton Socks $11.60 These socks are made by a Canadian company. I took a look at their website, and they have a huge selection of brightly colored socks.
I received the size 36-40, which are sizes 5.5-9.5 in US women. I love these!
Yum Earth Pomegranate Licorice $1.00 est Yum Earth is the same company behind all natural lollipops and gummy bears. These little licorice bites are pomegranate flavored, nut free, organic, non-gmo and gluten free.
Fusion Beauty Plumping Gloss – Dream $8.40 This color was darker than I expected, but it looked great on. I do think it made my lips look fuller.
This is a swatch of the color.
Your Tea Tea Face $25.00 This is a tea face mask and it came in just the cutest packaging. I can see how this is $25.00, because the packaging alone has to be expensive. The outside box was a pretty white and purple, thick cardboard box. This mask is made with all natural ingredients to moisturize, exfoliate, even skin tone, and help your complexion glow.
The mask comes in a pretty little jar.
The actual product looks like the contents of a wet tea bag. One thing I noticed is the mask expires soon, Oct 30th. Since the product is made with all natural ingredients, it doesn't have a long shelf life. Once you use it, you want to store the remaining product in the refrigerator.
When I first opened the jar, I noticed the smell. In full disclosure, I hate tea, so I may dislike the smell more because I don't like the smell of tea. I thought it smelled a bit like tea and perm solution. My husband is more sensitive to smells than I am, and he didn't think it was too bad. Maybe it's just me!
I try this out, just to see how it worked. It's a bit messy to apply, so be sure to do it in the bathroom, or over a sink. Once I rinsed it off, my skin did look and feel good.
Final Thought: This month's box had a total value of $62.00. The value was great this month, but overall I wasn't overly impressed. My favorite item was the lip gloss, candy and the greeting cards. Thank you for your review…especially for mentioning the Tea face expiration date. I received a box this month and didn’t open it yet. Looks like I will be trying it tonight. (Wonder if my kids will peek at the container inside the fridge!
Glad the review helped. 🙂
