First Look
The May box was called “May the Gainz Be With You”.
The information booklet has pictures, descriptions and values of everything in the box.
Exo Sleeve Compression Shorts (For Women) $49.99 These compression shorts are so cute, I just don't know if I am brave enough to wear them outside the house. They may be my indoor workout pants until I can do a few hundred more squats and burpees. I love Gainz includes clothing in their subscription. Last month's leggings turned out to be my favorite article of workout wear.
The men received a Caffeine & Kilos C & K Slugger Tee $28.00. Each box contains either the women's or men's workout wear. There was a window and keychain from Caffeine and Kilos included in every box. When you sign up, you give your size and a few other details, so clothing items will fit you.
Dirtybird Energy Caffeinated Energy Soap $5.99 I have never heard of caffeinated energy soap, so this is a new product for me. This is made with coconut and peppermint oils to help give you a boost. The soap is also made with jojoba beads, which exfoliate your skin, but won't harm the environment. Even the case for the soap is recyclable.
Smashpack Protein + Fruit Blend Protein Pouch $2.99 This pouch has 180 calories, 14 grams of protein and 1 serving of fruit. I like that it combines fruit and protein, so the sugar in the fruit will be processed better. The protein is whey protein, which I am used to from my breakfast shakes.
Think Jerky Sriracha Honey Jerky $4.99 I have had this jerky before but I never knew it was developed by Chef Gale Gand from the Food Network. This is turkey jerky that is free range, family farmed and has no added antibiotics. This is paleo friendly, nitrate free, and has no added hormones.
Hand Armour Chalk Liquid & Block Chalk $11.90 This chalk is the official chalk of USA Weightlifting. The block chalk is a high density professional grade chalk, made with 100% magnesium carbonate. The liquid form is mess free and lasts longer.
Brain Boss Nootropic Brain Shot Drink $2.99 This looks like a regular energy shot, but it formulated as a pre workout formula. This works to enhance your mental and physical focus.
There were a few coupons for some of the brands in the box.
Final Thought: I really loved the Gainz Box this month The total value was $78.85, which is pretty awesome. This subscription really combines an assortment of fitness tools for serious cross fit athletes, or just those getting started working out.
