Frank + Oak is a style subscription box for men and women. Subscription are $79 USD/$89 CAD or every two months. When you sign up, you fill out a profile and you will be given new recommendations each month. You can select up to four items each month, depending on the items.
Each month, you will be given five tokens to spend on items. From Frank + Oak, generally, a crewneck t-shirt is valued at 1 token, 2 tokens for a button-up, and a pair of pants is 3 tokens. I was given a code to subscribe for free. My items shipped in a polymailer bag.
You recommendations will be listed on a page like this. At the bottom, it will indicate how many tokens it takes.
My items came wrapped in a white tissue paper. There was a sticker on top with who packaged the items.
There was a piece of paper explaining the return process. You can return in store or by mail.
In your mailer, you will be given a paper with your clothing items listed.
Short Sleeve Cotton Blend Mockneck Sweater in Snow White This sweater is made of 80% cotton and 20% nylon. It's very soft and has a nice stretch. I typically stay away from white or anything close to white, because of stains. I really loved the look at this sweater, so I am just going to invest in some stain stick.
The sleeves are made well and have nice stitching throughout.
The collar is a mock neck, which I really like.
Wide Leg Washed Tencel Short in True Black These short are made of 100% tencel, which is a regenerated fabric made from eucalyptus trees. They fit a bit high in the waist, which is a new style, but it works. These can work as dress pants or can be dressed down a bit. The flare leg is very slimming.
The front it pleated and has slash pockets.
Final Thought: I loved the two pieces I received in my Frank + Oak subscription. The quality is great and every month, you will get a new set of selections to choose from. If you don't love the pieces, you can return them and you can also skip with your subscription. You can try the Frank + Oak Syle Plan and save $30 on your first month.
