The theme for April was “Take Me Away”. Each lipstick was named for a different city around the world.
The back of the information card gave information about the subscription.
All the lipsticks shipped in a little satin drawstring bag.
Paris: This was the lightest lipstick in the bag. This is a pink-nude color and it looks great for day to day. The swatch is a bit shiny, because it wasn't dry 100% yet. This is a long lasting color and it didn't feel too dry.
Rome This is a dark brown-red color. I typically don't wear brown shades, but this looked great mixed with the Milan color below.
Milan This is probably my favorite color in the subscription! This is the perfect shade for night outs! It was a bit too bold for me during the day, but it depends on your look and preferences.
Bestie The free lipstick was Bestie, a beautiful dark purple shade. Purple is my favorite color and this shade looked great on me.
The Test
Given the promise of long lasting wear, I decided to put these lipsticks to the test! I tried out Paris and applied it in the morning. It takes a minute or two to dry complexly. Once dry, the lipstick stayed put. I decided to not reapply after lunch, to give it a full test. By dinner, I did need to reapply, but I was impressed that the lipstick maintained much of the color, through most of the day. I easily reapply lipstick once an hour, so only needing to apply once or twice was a nice change.

Final Thought: I loved this subscription. Lipsticks are my favorite beauty products and my purse usually has 4 or 5. I was really impressed with how well these lipsticks stayed on, without feeling drying. I enjoyed all the colors and look forward to seeing what colors will be sent out next month.
