First look!
**To see what you are eating you go to their website and pick your box. There are also nutrition factsH
Haru Potato Sour Cream Cheese: These are crunchy special chips enhance with sour cream and cheese. These were a definite hit!!
Bakauke (Matcha): Get a traditional taste of Japan with these crackers, dusted with the refreshing taste of green tea powder. These were also a hit. I tasted a little sweet too!
Aji Karuta (Karasi Mentaiko): Featuring a spicy mentaiko flavor, this Japanese rice cracker is a fantastic snacking option. This had spice, but not too much, and was very tasty. I'm loving the salty snacks this month!
Caramel Corn Hina Matsuri: A classic sweet snack in Japan gets a makeover for the annual doll festival! But the rich caramel taste remains. I'm a sucker for caramel corn, and this didn't disappoint! They are nice sweet caramel puffs.
Ichigo an Dora Yaki Milk Flavor: A classic Japanese treat, this dorayaki features a rich milk taste and strawberry alongside a traditional bean paste. I'm super bummed because I accidentally let this one expire 🙁 Anything with bean past is sooooo good!
LOOK The Japan Assort: This features chocolate, alongside green tea, kinako and brown sugar (all the traditional flavors of Japan). This was great! It was chocolate with a twist!
Sakeru Gummy Tsubu Tsubu Ichigo: This gummy delight splits off into small pieces sporting a strawberry flavor. There were seven individually wrapped candies in here. The taste was awesome, but it had the texture of gum. I'm a little strange about texture, but the taste was great!
Toku Coi Milk 8.2 Chocolate: These hard candies features tasty chocolate inside each piece. These sounded interesting! The hard shell had a very mild sweet, almost milky taste. There was actual soft chocolate inside. These were yummy and different!
Coconut Sable (Cultured Butter): These coconut biscuit gets an extra dash of richness courtesy of some special butter. There were four individual packs, each with five biscuits. I'm not a fan of butter, but these had a light yummy taste and reminded me of a Girl Scout Cookie.
Mintia (Le Lectier): These are tiny tablets, featuring a lovely pear taste. I could gobble these down! These were super-pear tasting!
Kaga Bo Hougi Cha: This is a roasted green tea drink, perfect for when you need to relax a bit. I like that they include a drink! It's fun to try drinks from other countries.
Final Thought: I like this box a lot. I felt like it had the variety I like (such as salty snacks). There was a drink, gummies, sweets, savory, crunch, soft. Just like the box said, these were new, never before seen flavors. There was nothing in the box that I had tried before. There were 11 items, and the large box says 10-14, so I maybe would like to see at least one more item in it for the cost. You can check out WOWBOX with this link.
