The inside box was very color and a bit more flexible. The bright colors and cartoon owl was really appealing to my 4 year old.
First Look. Everything was wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with a cute owl sticker.
There was a two sided information card. One side has activities to do with your child, based on their development. The card gave skills my son should be doing, as well as activities to do with him.
The other side of the information card had a list of everything in the box, descriptions of each item and what skills each toy helps develop.
There was a two sided flyer with information about the subscription.
eeBoo Snap Playing Cards Game $8.95 I remember playing this game as a kid! You deal out all the cards, then take turns laying on down. Each player forms their own pile. When someone sees a match, they yell “SNAP” and take the other players cards. This game is more fun with more than two players, but my 4 year old really loved this game. Kids can strengthen their shoulders by laying down during the game and propping up their shoulders.
This game works on fine motor, visual motor/perceptual skills.
Dinosaur Eraser Triceratops $8.90 I wasn't too thrilled when I saw this eraser, but it has turned out to be pretty fun! My son has a large collection of rubber/plastic animals, and this guy has joined the herd. This triceratops also doubles as an eraser.
This toy works on sensory, strength, visual motor/perceptual, and fine motor skills.
The Original Toy Company Build Your Own Robot $11.86 This little robot has movable arms, legs and head. This is a very fun toy, even I played with it a bit. This is great toy to have at restaurants, because it's quiet and engaging.
This toy works with fine motor and visual motor/perceptual skills.
Crocodile Creek Creeture + Play 48 piece Jigsaw Puzzle in Robot Shaped Box 8″ $12.00 This toy is a fun robot and a puzzle! The puzzle has 48 pieces and puts together to make a space scene.
This is what the puzzle will look like when it's put together. T really loves puzzles and this is big enough to give him a challenge.
This puzzle works on fine motor and visual motor/perceptual skills.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $65.57 and that's using Amazon prices. My 4 year old really loved this box, especially the SNAP game and the moveable red robot. This turned out to be a fun box for my 4 year old. Every toy has been played with multiple times. If you want to try Hoot for Kids, check out their website.
