GlobeIn has already started to add great features to their boxes and more are rolling out soon.  Here is a complete list!

GlobeIn has also has a Benefit Basket.   The Benefit Basket contains one crafted good from a remarkable, remote artisan, all in a colorful, handwoven basket from their weaving collective in Oaxaca, Mexico.  You will also get story of the artisan, their community, and how you are making an impact on their lives.  The Benefit Basket is $19.95/month or $56.95 for 3 months, but you can get $7.00 off your 1 box of a 3 month subscription with the code TRYBENEFIT.

GlobeIn ships in a square box.

First Look.  Each box comes with an information booklet, which details the artisans who make all the products in the box.  I was missing mine, so I was sent one electronically.

Dream On Tote Bag, Kenya (Retail $25) This bag is quite large and very durable.  This bag was made by ImanXchange, a women's empowerment program in Kenya. I don't know the exact measurements of the tote, but it's about the size of a school backpack.  You can store anything in this from clothes, to books, to groceries.

Each bag is signed by the artisan, so you know who crafted your bag.

Dream Journal, India (Retail $12) This journal measures 5×7 and is made by Rajasthan called kagzis.  They use a traditional process of collecting cotton scraps, breaking them down and soaking them overnight.  The pulp is then strained, pressed, and hung to dry. Once dry, the paper can be made into books like this.  These journals are made by women, people with special needs, and people from impoverished areas.  They journal is made with very little water, so it's eco friendly too!

The pages inside the book are quite thick and plain.  You can journal in this, or use it to sketch and draw.

Dessert Bowl, Tunisia (Retail $12) This was made by Le Souk Ceramique in Nabeul.  This bowl is designed for a dessert at bedtime.  GlobeIn states that dairy foods like ice cream help promote dreams. Each bowl is hand painted and subscribers could receive many different designs. Helene works at Le Souk Ceraminqe, and uses the money she makes to support her whole family.

If you stay away from dairy, you can also put fruit or other desserts in this.

Palm Leaf Pouch, Mexico (Retail $12) This woven pouch was made by Oaxacan weavers, who also make the beautful woven baskets featured in this subscription. GlobeIn recommend putting your dreams for the year in this pouch, and pulling them out to review in August.  I really love the idea and I am going to try it out.

This is a closet look at the pouch.  It's quite roomy, so you can store a number of things inside.

GlobeIn Greeting Card (Retail $3) Subscribers also received a greeting card, but it was left out of my box.

Final Thought: GlobeIn sent another beautiful box this month. I didn't receive the information card or greeting card, but those are only minor details.  I really love the tote and the bowl.  I know I will use both regularly!  This box is sold out, so new subscribers will get the March box.  Check out the spoilers here for this fantastic box.  You can save $10.00 on your first box of a three-month subscription, just use  coupon the on WELCOME.
