My March GlobeIn box shipped in a large box.
First Look
The box shipped with an information guide, which lists everything in the box and descriptions of each one.
GlobeIn Greeting Card $3.00 There was a greeting card in the box which read, “Take time to unwind, it helps heal your body & mind” – Rubyanne.
Glass Mug, Mexico $16.00 This mug is just beautiful. This was made in the workshop Cristaluc, which is in Tonalá, Jalisco. This workshop employs 40 local artisans and gives a space for people to create their art. This mug is really huge and can hold any beverage you desire. I can see my husband enjoying a root beer float with this.
The blue blown glass handle and rim to the top pop with color.
The bottom of the mug has a beautiful look.
Nose Glasses Holder, India $18.00 This glasses holder was crafted through Matr Boomie. This was made in Northern India and Matr Boomie strives to create profitable place for artisans to work.
There is a piece of wood on the back where the ear pieces go. The piece looks like a face with the wood carving being a nose. My husband and I both really loved this piece. (glasses not included)
Rosewood Catch-All Tray, India $12.00 This catch-all tray was made by the same artisans as the glasses holder. My husband already grabbed this to store the contents of his pockets.
This is the look at the edge of the tray. I love the craftsmanship of this piece.
Rosewood Bottle Opener, India $6.00 This piece is also made through Matr Boomie. This hand-carved bottle opener looks great and is functional. Supporting Matr Boomie helps give young artists a stable source of income.
Organic Cotton Socks, India $10.00 Socks were a surprise to be found in this box, but I loved it. These socks are made with organic cotton, which means farmers do not come in contact with harsh chemicals and they can grow many different crops at once. These socks are incredibly soft! I wish there were two pairs in the box, because my husband and I both love these too.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $65.00. I really loved this box. In fact, I think it's my favorite GlobeIn box so far. It's rare that we get a box that there are so many items my husband and I both want. GlobeIn continues to send good quality items from all over the world. GlobeIn's boxes are unique and the value is always there. You can save $10.00 on your first box of a three-month subscription, just use the coupon WELCOME.
