First Look
Each information booklet has details about everything in the box and the artisan who makes each item.
Since the theme was “giving”, there was a card to give to someone else.
Hand Painted Serving Dish by Le Souk Ceramique, Tunisia, $30.00 This dish was made in Nabeul, which is the center of Tunisian pottery. I love the colors of this plate, they are actually my favorite colors. This serving dish was made by Mohamid Ali, who is going to be retiring soon to pursue his dream of farming.
This is a closer look at the serving dish.
Gift Box (Set of Three), India, by Craft Boat & Tribe Alive $20.00 These beautiful boxes all fit inside each other. You can use these to decorate your home, or use them wrap gifts. Heena works for Craft Boat, where she in charge of overseeing many aspects of the business, which helps get her away from some of the struggles she faces.
I love the patterns of each of these boxes.
Greeting Card Box Set (Set of Eight), India, by Craft Boat & Tribe Alive $22.00 These note cards and box are made by artisans called Kaagzi. All the cards are made from recycled cotton pulp and I like that the box coordinates with the boxes.
There are 8 single cards with envelopes. The cards are one sides and are each handmade.
Hand Painted Sauce Dish by Le Souk Ceramique, Tunisia. $9.00 est Subscribers who didn't want the palm leaf basket could choose to receive this sauce dish. This was made by the same people behind the serving dish. I hope Globe In carries more in their online shop, because I would love to have a set of 4.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $81.00. I loved the pieces in this month box. This is one of my favorite Globe In boxes.
