All the instructions for the projects were included in this book.  Kiwi Crate includes pictures for each step, as well as clear instructions.

When you open the information guide, there is a list of materials in the box.  There is also a breakdown of each activity with information about the messiness and parental involvement needed for each activity. The back of the magazine has a sticker.  When you first subscribe, you will get a pair of scissors and a poster for all your stickers.

Build Your Periscope

Build Your Periscope: Messiness (Low), Grownup Involvement (Low) A good spy stays hidden, so your child can use this periscope to check out areas, without being seen.

L folded the periscope and assembled everything pretty quickly. This was an easy craft to do.

Explore Secret Messages: Messiness (Low), Grownup Involvement Medium)  One of the coolest parts of this month's kit was the hidden messages.  You child can explore different ways to hit messages.
Explore Secret Messages

The instructions clearly described how to write each message.

Explore Secret Messages Supplies

There was special paper, white paper, markers, a special UV pen and the glasses.

Writing a message

The first message was to use the markers to write a message on the secret paper.  Only the person wearing the glasses can ready the message.

Reading a message I wrote him.

UV Pen

The UV Pen was also really cool.  You use the light to reveal what you wrote.

Treasure Map

L used the paper to make a treasure map.  L wrote the real map using the UV pen.

Explore Secret Messages

The fake map was written with a regular pen.  This was my son's favorite activity in the box.

Pack Your Suitcase

Pack Your Suitcase: Messiness (Low), Grownup Involvement Low)  The final project was to put together a suitcase to hold all the supplies.

There were not man pieces for this project, but the suitcase was super cute.

Pack Your Suitcase

The directions involved creating storage areas for supplies.

Pack Your Suitcase

There was a board that fit inside the suitcase for organization.
