Julep Maven October 2016 Review
The October 2016 Julep Collection was called “Dark and Stormy Night”. There was a new lip product, Lip Shade Sheer Lip Butter. Julep is $24.99/month or $19.99/month with a 3 month subscription. I had skipped a few months, so I was curious what would be in my box. I had forgot to customize my box, so I really didn't know what I would get in the box.
First Look
The theme for October was Dark and Stormy Nights.
Night Shift Deep Sleep Facial Mask This mask moisturizes and firms with peptides and botanical extracts. You apply this at night, leave it on and rinse off in the morning.
Krystle (Wonder Maven) Hunter Green Ghost Shimmer. This polish is a pretty polish that is green with a bit blue in it.
Skylla (Boho Glam) Black Coffee Ghost Shimmer. This is a dark brown polish with a bit of shimmer. I have never worn brown polish before and honestly, I am not a huge fan. I will probably end up giving this to a friend.
Desiree (It Girl) High-Gloss Holographic Top Coat. This was a special bonus in the box. This can be worn alone or over a polish.

Final Thought: Even though I didn't select my colors this month, my box ended up nice. I am the most excited about using the mask. I also really love Desiree, because I can use it with any polish to change the look. Julep is a great subscription, because you get to pick the items for your boxes or skip all together if you wish.
