The Collector's Case is a new geek and gamer box that sends a themed collectors case with a t-shirt and other themed fantom items for $25.00/month. The Collector's Case likes to shake things up, so they send autograph pictures and bonus FUNKO Pops in random boxes! Each case is value at over $60.00.
The Details:
Cost: $25.00/month, 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions also available
What's in the box? Each box comes with a themed collectors case with a t-shirt and other themed fantom items. Some case will also include bonus autographs and FUNKO Pops.
The Collectors Case shipped in a large box.
The information card contained pictures and descriptions of everything in the box. The theme for September was Super Heroes.
I was impressed with how many items were in this month's box.
BAM! T-Shirt $15.00 est This shirt reminds me of the old BATMAN show where the words appeared over the characters. This was a thick t-shirt and it fit nicely too.
The Walking Dead – Daryl Dixon by Funko Vinyl Idolz $16.48 I didn't know FUNKO made Vinyl Idolz. The box arrived in great condition, no major dents or marks. The Walking Dead is a hugely popular show, but there has been a lack of Walking Dead items in subscription boxes lately. This is a really nice collectors piece.
I took him out of the box briefly to take a photo. The vinyl figure was pretty detailed and is 8″ tall.
Funko Superman POP Heroes $7.49 This is the classic version of Superman. I don't have this version yet and he looks great in my collection.
Cardfight Vanguard/Luck & Logic Fanbook $9.99 There are two complete fanbooks contain information about each card game, along with tips and tricks. There is a limited edition Cardfight!! Vanguard G PR card and 2 Luck & Logic PR with the books.
This is a look at the Luck & Logic Fanbook.
Love Letter Batman Boxed Edition Card Game $10.99 This game is for 2-4 players and the goal is to get the villains back to Arkham Asyllum. You earn little Batman pieces by getting rid of opponents and wining rounds.
Big Bag Theory Trading Cards (2 Pack) $3.33/Pack These are the 4th set of trading cards in a series, that were just released this past July. There are a number of different kinds of cards that can be in a pack. I received a regular pack and in the second pack, there was a special prop card. The prop card had actual felt for the train table from the set.
DC Universe BATMAN #1 Special Edition Reprint $2.99 This is a special reprint of Batman #1. The cover is by Howard Porter, story by Tom King and art by David Finch and Matt Banning. I wish the comic came bagged and boarded, but the comic did arrive in perfect condition.
Marvel Dog Tag & Trading Cards (2 Packs) $3.33/pack Each pack of cards contained three cards and a dog tag. I received Captain Marvel and Cable dog tags. I liked that these were the comic book version of the Marvel characters, instead of the movie.
Final Thought This box had a total value of $76.26. I was really impressed with the value and the number of items in the box. I love the BAM t-shirt, Superman FUNKO and the Batman game the most. I think The Collectors Box is a great new box. If you want to subscribe, just use this link.
