Julep Maven August 2016 Review
The August 2016 Julep Collection was called “Endless Summer”. There was a new lip product, Lip Shade Sheer Lip Butter. Julep is $24.99/month or $19.99/month with a 3 month subscription. Once you are a maven, you will be able to select the items in your box between the 20th and 24th of the month.

There was card with the theme for the August Box. There was also a 20% discount code for Ulta.
Admired Lip Gloss This is a new shade (violet fuchsia), but still the same great formula. I love this purple shade, it gives just a hint of color. Julep's lip gloss isn't sticky and has a very sweet smell.

Adeline (It Girl) Azalea blossom multidimensional shimmer. This pink shade was the first color I grabbed to wear. This has a great coverage and the color is just gorgeous.
Stephanie (Classic with a Twist) Juicy cherry holographic. This color reminds me of Dorothy's ruby slippers, though Julep already has a color for that. This really does have a “juicy” look to it. I am currently wearing Adeline, but this one is next.
There was a bonus piece of candy in the box. I typically give the candy to my kids, but I am keeping this one.
Final Thought: This was a great box and the shades for August were so beautiful! I absolutely love the new lip shade and I hope Julep continues to release new shades of their lip gloss.
