8 x 8 x 1.5″ Himalayan Salt Block by Charcoal Companion, Berkeley, California $35.00 I have a couple Himalayan salt blocks and they work great. You can place these on the grill and cook various meats, even fish. The salt from the block is absorbed by the food, but you don't have to worry about too much salt getting on the meat. You can control how salty your food gets by adjusting the temperature and time you cook your food. This block measure 8 x 8, so it can cook multiple pieces of meat at once.
Mable's Liquid Gold BBQ Sauce by Mable's Smokehouse & Banquet Hall, Brooklyn, NY $13.00 This BBQ sauce comes from Brooklyn and the recipe is based on one of the owner's grandmother's recipe. It's described as having a smokey and sweet flavor, which I am eager to try. I like almost every bbq sauce I try.
Jamaican Jerk Pineapple Chutney by Wozz! Kitchen Creations, Bethlehem, New Hampshire $10.50 This chutney is made with fresh grilled lemon juice, cane sugar, cider vinegar, onion, garlic, fruit pectin, Jamaican Jerk Spice, mint, Chili Flakes and spices. You can apply this to a variety of foods like steak, fish and salads.
8″ Bamboo Skewers by Hamptons Lane, New York, New York $4.50 This pack of 100 skewers or kabobs, are great for parties. Our family loves getting quality steak and making out own kabobs at home. Hamptons Lane has also included a recipe for Salt Block Duck Skewers, which sounds amazing.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $63.00. This box didn't have as many products as previous boxes, but it had the salt block, which has a great value. I really enjoyed this box and I will be having a summer grill party soon. Hamptons Lane is great, because you know everything in the box before you get it. If you aren't into the theme that month, just skip! To try Hampton's Lane, use this link with the code SUBBOXMOM10 and you will save $10.00 on you 1st box.
