Fuego Box July 2016 Review
Fuego Box is a hot sauce of the month club that sends craft and small-batch hot sauces. Fuego Box sends truly tasty and dynamic sauces, and they refuse to send “insane heat, gimmicky labeling, and extract-based sauce”
When you subscribe to Fuego Box, you will get a special introductory box with a mini-tasting notebook, 2 full-sized sauces, and a few samples (Read the Introductory Box Review Here). Your 2nd box and on includes 3 full-sized hot sauces.
There are three different subscription plans:
- 3 Hot Sauces per Month: $29.95
- 3 Hot Sauces per Quarter $29.95
- 1 Hot Sauce per Month $12.95 ($5.00 shipping)
Everything shipped in a padded priority mail envelope.
All three bottles of hot sauce are packaged in a little box.
First Look
The information card includes details about each bottle and recommended foods to try it on.
HOTMAPLE Smokey Habanero The habanero in this smokey sauce, is mixed with maple syrup, for a sweet kick to this spicy sauce. The is recommended for Brussels sprouts, pork, chicken and stir fry.
Gold Coast Hot Sauce This sauce is made by the same group that made the C & C Foods Sweet Savina Sunrise in the February 2016 box. This sauce is made with garlic, onions, white fatalii peppers and bell peppers. The name Gold Coast name is from Charlestown's bridge! This is great for tacos or channa masala.
Nam Prik This sauce was inspired by the founder's family recipe. This sauce has heat but won't hurt to eat it. This is made with vinegar, garlic, fish sauce, and Thai chilis. This is great on shrimp friend rice, roasted meats and my favorite, carne asada tacos.
Final Thought: This was a great box of sauces. There is always a nice variety of sauces that work on many different types of foods.
