Brick Loot comes in a blue brick box.
The theme for this month was “Ghost Hunters”. There was also a sticker for this month's theme.
The information card has descriptions about each item.
PKE Meter Psychokinetic Energy Meter This is an exclusive build, designed by Kyle Peterson and made with 100% LEGO bricks. This is the meter ghost hunters use to detect paranormal events.
My 7-year-old assembled this by himself with no issues.
Exclusive Art Print by Drew Blank Drew is an artist/writer who loves geek culture. This is a little square print you can display.
Ghost Hunter Custom Mini Fig This is a real LEGO mini fig that has been customized by United Bricks. My son loves getting customized mini figs.
Ghost Trap Light Similar to the traps Ghostbusters use to trap ghost, this is a light up trap. You can use this to build your own ghost playset.
Ghost Treats Machine This was designed by a teen LEGO fan, BRICKLOVER18. This build makes a little gumball machine with a ghost themed top.
The top of the machine has a no ghost sign with the phrase “feed at your own risk”
This is the front of the machine. The directions recommended using sprinkles to look like gumballs.
Slime There was a barrel of slime that you could use to slime one of your builds.
Plus Plus Sample There was a special bonus sample of Plus Plus, which are building pieces that you can use to make 3D sculptures. Our kids have big versions of these and they are pretty fun to play with.
Final Thought: I was really excited to check out this box, because I love ghost hunting type things, but I ended up feeling disappointed. I felt there were fewer builds this month and no ghost builds. I was really hoping for a glow in the dark ghost. The print was a new item this month, and I imagine, that took the place of a build. Just a personal preference, but my son and I love all the builds. While we didn't love this month, we do really enjoy this subscription. I think this is the first month I have ever been disappointed, pretty good average. If you want to try Brick Loot, for a limited time, use the code summer15, to save 15% on your subscription. Once that expires, use the code boxmom12 to save 12% (Good on 1 and 3 month subscriptions).
