First Look
Subscribers were told to check their emails for a $50.00 coupon for Tieks! Tieks are the most comfortable ballet flats on the planet. I have had mine for about two years and I wear them everyday. I will be sure to use this coupon.
The theme for this month is “Love is Empathy”.
Inside the information guide is a list of everything in the box, a description and icons to let you know if it's gluten free, dairy free, organic, or non-gmo.
Skinny Pop Dark Chocolate Popcorn I personally love Skinny Pop popcorn and I have a huge bag in my cabinet right now. This version has a few more calories (70 vs 35) and is dusted with dark chocolate.
Surf Sweets This brand has been in Love with Food before, but I won't complain because my kids love these jelly beans. They are free from artificial colors and flavors, so parent's don't have to feel bad giving them to kids.
Sheila G's Brownie Brittle This was in the November 2015 tasting box. Twice in a 6 month period is a bit much, but this is pretty tasty. If you haven't had this, it's basically the crunchy edge of the brownie, with chocolate chips.
Kutoa Peanut Butter + Jelly Kutoa always give a meal to a child in need for every bar purchased. This is a mix of fruits, nuts, and seeds for a healthy, high protein snack.
Smarty Pants Women's Vitamins This multivitamin is made just for women and has Omega 3s and folate. I really stink at remembering to take vitamins, so I took these right away.
Biena Chickpea Snacks in Sea Salt Chickpeas are one of those snacks I have learned to like through subscription boxes. These have 7 grams of protein, 8 grams of fiber and 64% less fat than dry roasted peanuts.
Smooze Coconut and Pink Guava Fruit Ice This is another item that pops up frequently in boxes, especially in warmer months. It's dairy free, vegan, non-gmo and gluten free. Since our family doesn't eat coconut, these always go to my dad.
Emily's Trail Mix I love fruit and nuts together. I try not to eat sugars, even natural ones, without a protein. This is the perfect snack for me and I will try to get more from the Love with Food shop.
Glee Gum Pop I am hoping one child will want the Surf Sweets and the other want this sucker, but I probably won't be that lucky. This is a bit like a Charms BlowPop, but this is gluten free, vegan and dairy free.
There were multiple offers and coupons in this month's box. I will be sure to use the Smart Pop coupon.
Final Thought: Overall, I thought this was a nice box. There were a few repeats, but other than the fruit ice, I will eat everything. Love with Food is one of my oldest subscriptions and my family always enjoys the snacks in the box. If you want to subscribe, check out the coupons below for the best savings.
