Surprise My Pet April 2016 Review
Surprise My Pet is a pet subscription box for dogs and cats. Boxes are $30.00/month and come with 5-7 toys, treats, and sometimes grooming supplies or accessories. When you sign up, you select the box according to your pet's weight, from < 10lbs to 50lbs and up. We recently adopted a cute beagle mix, so I was excited to let Buddy review a box. Surprise My Pet also has a “Pay for Paw guarantee! If your dog doesn't like an item in the box, Surprise My Pet will send you a bonus item in the next box. When you subscribe, 10% of the profits go to dog charities and shelters!

Meet Buddy! Buddy is a 1 year old beagle mix we adopted from a rescue. He had been neglected, starved and dumped on a busy highway. He is the most lovable, laid back dog and we have fallen in love with him!
Surprise My Pet ships in a bright yellow and blue box.
First Look. The blue paper on top had a fun fact about dogs. They laugh with their tails!
There was a cute sticker, #EnterThePawty
The theme for April is “Movie Night”. There was also a card advertising a product in the box.
The information card had a list of everything in the box.
Elvis PB and Bananas Plush Sandwich Dog Toy $14.99 Your dog can be just like the King with this peanut butter and banana sandwich. One side has a squeaker and the other side has crinkle material. The whole sandwich Velcros together too!
Buddy went to work trying to get the peanut butter and bananas.
HDC Yaky Charms $2.99 This is the coolest treat, it's a popcorn-like treat for dogs. Just pop this in the microwave for a minute and you will get puffy treats. They are made of all natural ingredients and are lactose-free, gluten-free & grain-free.
This is what they looked like popped. They look like packing peanuts.
Buddy loved these and they made a great training treat. The bag made a large amount of treats, so we have plenty left over.
barkBARS This bar was made with all natural ingredients and it's made to look like a cute candy bar.
Slice O Pizza $8.99 This big plush pizza has a squeaker inside. Buddy had a great time trying to get the pepperoni off and the squeaker out.
Buddy says “My Pizza”.
Puppy Scoops Vanilla Flavor Ice Cream $7.99 Dogs love trying to sneaks a taste of your food, but we know what table food is really not good for them. Buddy ate a bit of icing from a birthday party food fight and ended up with an upset belly. This puppy ice cream is a safe and yummy alternative, just for dogs. You mix this with water, freeze and you have a treat for your dog.
One Fur All Candles in Mango Peach $7.99 This candle is made just for homes with pets. It smells great and it neutralizes odors, instead of just masking the smell with fragrance.
pawTree sample These treats are all natural and free of additives, perfect for your pet. They don't sell good, but Buddy loved them.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $40.44! I used the prices Surprise My Pet sent me, because they were lower than the total price I found online. Buddy loved his first subscription box and gave it 4 paws up! My normally laid back pup had a great time testing out all the treats and toys. I have never seen him so excited!
