Shtrands was founded by Lacramioara Schulte Auf’m Erley and Kimberly Hughes. Lacramioara has always loved beauty and has a MBA and degrees in Chemistry. Kimberly has been working for hair companies as an educator and stylist for 14 years, so working for Shtrands was an easy transition.
I am really particular about my hair, I only use salon quality hair products and I don't tend to try anything new, unless my stylist recommends it. Since I was one of those lucky people who started going grey at 18, I have to color my hair regularly. In addition to color treating my hair, I straighten it daily. My hair is naturally curly, super thick and is prone to dryness (wonder why!).
I tried Shtrands last year, and I really enjoyed the subscription.

Sebastian Whipped Crème $19.99 I have naturally curly hair, but it can be hard to manage, so I find straightening it is easier. This whipped cream can use use on my hair to help control my curl and frizz. I tried this the other morning and my hair looked really cute. This is made a nice look and I didn't have to head style my hair.
abba Pure Performance Hair Care Moisture Shampoo $8.99 This works to strengthen and hydrate, dry hair. This seemed to really cleanse my hair and didn't leave it feeling weighted down like other moisturizing shampoos I have used.
Tela Beauty Organics Melody Conditioner $25.00 This is a special limited edition condition that works for color treated and dry hair. I pay a good amount to dye my hair and I don't want to use product that will strip my color. I tried this out and it moisturized my tips well.
Wella Age Restore Restoring Treatment for Coarse Hair $7.11 I use a hair mask weekly, sometimes multiple times a week. This deeply coats and moisturizes hair and repairs the damage of heat styling. i had just ran out of my regular hair mask when I got this box. This worked really well and lived up to my go-to brand.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $61.09. Like last review, I loved my box. The products are picked out by professionals, you won't want get a random shampoo, just because it was discounted. I was pleased with the quality of each product and the value of over the cost of the box. If you want to try Shtrands, use this link with the code ERIN to save 15%.
