Panda Pals April 2016 Review
Panda Pals is a sock subscription box that sends two pairs of socks and several activity for kids (ages 3-8). Panda Pals is a subscription from Sock Panda, which is another great sock subscription. Each month, Panda Pals subscribers will get two pairs of socks, a cartoon story about Nikos & friends, along with an envelope full of activities. Panda Pals also gives a pair of socks to a child in need with every subscription purchased. You can check out my first box here, and meet the characters and see map where the characters live.
Everything ships in an envelope with Nikos on the front.
There was a letter introducing Charlie the Monkey. She is the featured character this month. She likes to dance and play instruments. I was surprised that there wasn't a cartoon this month.
Activity Sheet Each envelope contains a sheet, about the size of a placemat. The paper was all themed around music activities.
The back side of the mat also was filled with activities to do.
Stickers Each month comes with a sheet of stickers to put on the map, which was included in month 1.
Make Your Own Instrument There were directions to make a strumming instrument using a box and rubber bands.
Make Your Own Interment The back of the card had directions to make maracas. To make this craft, just tape two cups together and fill with beans. After it is assembled, your child can paint it.
Charlie Monkey Since Charlie was the character of the month, one of the pair of socks is a monkey. I like that Charlie even has little ears that stick out. Of course, my favorite part of these socks is the snap. Just snap these together before washing, and you won't have to match them later.
Music Socks Both of my children enjoy music, so these socks are great for either child.
