Sensploration Coffee February 2016 Review
Sensploration Coffee sends freshly brewed coffee and treats from Hawaii for $24.99/month. The coffee is roasted 24-48 hours before it's shipped out to subscribers. Each box contains two bags of 5 oz coffee. You also get to choose the kind of roast you will receive: light, medium, dark, or a variety. My husband really enjoys coffee, so he was more than willing to help me review this box.

What's in the box? Each box contains 2 bags of freshly roasted beans (5 ozs each), along with a treat from Hawaii.
Sensploration Coffee ships in a Priority Mail envelope.
I love the graphics on the box, pretty fancy.
There was bright yellow tissue paper wrapped around the coffee.
First Look
The information card was two-sided. The front side has a brief description of the coffee subscription.
The back side of the information card has descriptions of each coffee.
Each bag was sealed and packed with a sticker.
Paniolo Blend Molokai Coffee (Dark Blend) Typically, my husband doesn't prefer a dark blend, but he really ended up enjoying this coffee. His taste notes for each coffee matched up exactly with Sensploration Coffee. This has a smooth taste with fruity undertones with no bitterness or acidity.
NorthShore Blend Waialua Coffee: This coffee grows on the North Shore of Oahu and has a full body, rich flavor, smooth taste, with no acidity or bitterness. I have been to the North Shore of Oahu, and I really want to go back.
Hawaiian Host There were two chocolate treats in the box: Maui Caramacs and AlohaMacs. The AlohaMacs is dark chocolate covered macadamia nuts and the Maui Caramacs is milk chocolate covered macadamias and caramel.
Final Thought: This was a great box and my husband really enjoyed both bags of coffee. My husband can be rather picky, so this is quite a compliment. I do wish the coffee bags had a way to re-seal.
