First Look.
Each box contains a book of speech tips and activities. There is an overview of what developmental milestones you should start seeing in your child. There are also several activities to help develop those milestones.
Here is a look at the inside of the book. Each activities has the activity, what you need, what to do, what is your child learning, and take it further. The activities are easy to do with your baby and require pretty basic supplies.
There was a separate information card in the box with a fun bath activity to do.
Most every subscription box has an information card, but Please and Carrots creates theirs differently. Instead of just a list of what's in the box, there are suggested fun activities to do with baby and the corresponding toy to use in the box. I like that they use the toy as a suggested activity, and not just list what's in the box.
Melissa and Doug Flip Fish $16.95 Melissa and Doug is favorite brand in our house. This fish is made with various color/textures of scales. There are mirrors, crinkle pieces, rubber pieces to chew and more. It's also washable, so you don't have to worry about this getting dirty. This is a great toy to lay on the floor for tummy time.
Infantino Activity Toy $11.99 Before my kids could sit up, most trips through the grocery store or Target were in their car seat carrier. This toy wraps around the bar of the carrier and has four different interactive toys: a mirror, rings, squeaky cow with tags, and a crinkle bee. This toys gives baby multiple ways to interact while you pick out those bananas. Tip, be sure to remove this while driving down the road.
Skip Hop Chime Ball, Treetop Friends Owl $10.99 My youngest was a little older when we first found the Skip Hop Brand. I really love all their cute and colorful animal characters. This owl is a big plush ball that jingles, and his little wings also crinkle. This is fun to roll, or throw and you don't have to worry about anyone or anything getting hurt. This ball is a fun way to introduce music to your little one. They can shake the ball and create their own music.
Infantino Sensory Pals $11.99 My plan was to keep all the toys in the packaging, so I could give them to the new baby. You really couldn't see these cute animals in the packaging, so I had to open them. My youngest love playing with big sensory animals. These are great to hold and chew. Their bright colors really invite play time and I loved that there was a porcupine, an animal you don't see often in baby toys.
Skip Hop Giraffe Safari Squeeze Me Rattle $19.95 Another Skip Hop toy! This plus giraffe is easy to hold and squeeze. This is great for teaching baby to transfer one toy to another. This giraffe has cute little tags for arms/legs and it squeaks and rattles.
Ten Little Fingers By Child's Play $5.74 We have a few Child's Play books and they are sturdy board books with bright illustrations. This books is all about “Ten Little Fingers”.
This is a great book to read and use as an interactive guide for play with baby.
To make it easy to take some of these toys with you, Please and Carrots included a tote bag.

The World of Eric Carle The Very Hungry Caterpillar Shadow Puppets Mudpuppy $13.47 Please and Carrots sent me an advance look at one of the projects they are considering for their 3+ boxes. Our family loves The Very Hungry Caterpillar book, so my boys loved playing with these shadow puppets. Please and Carrots included an information card on milestones at 3 years, what to work on and why, and how to help your child learn.
Inside the box, there are 8 shadow puppets your child can use to retell the story. The sticks are wooden and the puppets are a thick cardstock. We read the book at bedtime and the boys took their flashlights and had a blast with these. Stay tuned to Please and Carrots for their 3+ boxes.
