First Look

This month's theme was “Treasure Island”.  This box had all the materials to make your own treasure hunt.

First Look

Pirate Hat: There was an adorable pirate hat include in the box.  The hat had a little stretch, so T could wear it.

Treasure Map and Coins: To have a good treasure hung, you need a map.  We didn't end up writing on the map yet, because T has been too busy playing with his treasure chest.

Treasure Chest: This project ended up being such a great toy.  Your child glues the popsicle sticks together to make a chest, then adds jewel stickers.

The project was super easy to do.  The biggest challenge was not to bump the project while T was putting it together.

After the lid was glued, the jewels were placed on top.

This is the completed chest.  T picked how all the sticks were laid out.

All the gold pieces fit inside. T  ended up taking the chest and stuffing his Shopkins in there too.

Pirate Patch: To become a pirate, a foam eye patch activity was included.  All your child does is stick the pieces to the patch.

T had no problem completing this craft.

Pirate's Best Friend The next activity was to create a parrot on a stick.  The hard part of this craft was cutting out the parrot.  I ended up cutting out the parrot myself.  I wish the parrot had been a punch out instead.

Once the parrot was cut out, your child glues the wooden stick and features to the parrot.

This is the completed parrot.

My little pirate.

Final Thought: I love pirates and this kit was as much fun for me, as it was for my kids.  The treasure chest was so much fun to make, and it has been played with so much.  My 3-year-old loves to story little toys in there.  If you want to try Bramble Box, use this link with the code blog20 to save 20% on your 1st box.
