PitterPat Packages January 2016 Review
PitterPat Packages is a date subscription box that sends a complete date in a box. Boxes are $33.00/month plus shipping, but your 1st box ships free. Each box comes with a date night theme, around five items, plus 6-12 conversation cards and 3-5 kiss cards. Having a date night is hard and we had a great time with last month's box.

What's in the box? Each box comes with a date night theme, around five items, plus 6-12 conversation cards and 3-5 kiss cards.
Everything came in a plain brown box.
First Look. The January 2016 box is themed around “Hawaii”.
The back of the information card had a list of box ingredients and suggested date ideas.
Date Ideas:
- Make Spam musubi
- Make fishbowl drinks
- Use the kiss cards and conversation cards
- Make leis
Spam musubi is a combination of SPAM Teriyaki, rice and nori seaweed. I actually have never had SPAM before, so I am a bit nervous, but this recipe sounds great.
Stash Seaweed Sheets $3.50 This package has contains 10 sheets of nori seaweed.
SPAM Teriyaki $3.00 Like I said, I have never had SPAM, but Teriyaki SPAM sounds pretty good.
California Sushi Rice $7.03 This has 16 oz of California Organic Sushi Rice. There are 10 servings in the bag, so this can make lots of musubi.
Fishbowl Drinks: To make this drink, you put cotton candy in each cup, add sprite and watch it fizz. The gummy fish add to the fun of this drink.
To be fun, I ended up giving these drink to my kids for dinner. We did end up having an issue with the seem of a cup and the liquid leaking out. The drinks were yummy, but I wish the cups were a better quality.
Making Leis As a bonding activity, each person makes a lei for the other person.
Conversation Cards: This is always my favorite part of the box. There are 6 conversation cards to help develop great conversation. My favorite card was “What's the craziest dream you've ever had? What's the most recent dream you can remember?”.
Kiss cards: For the romantic part of the date, there were four different types of kisses
Final Thought: This box had a nice theme, but I wish there was more to the box. I was disappointed the cups leaked. My husband and I used the conversation cards, it made for a fun evening.
