I actually already reviewed Book of the Month for February, but somehow I received a second book. Book of the Month is a book subscription box that sends a brand new book for as low as $11.66/month.
On the first of the month, you log into your account and choose between five different books, picked out by Book of the Month Judges. There are authors, editors and more on the judging panel. You must make your selections by the 6th, or Book of the Month will pick for you.
Once you make your book selection, you can add up to two books to your account for $12.99/each. Once you get your book, you can log into your account and join the discussions.
The Details:
Cost: $16.99/month, $14.99/month for a 3 month subscription and $11.99/month for a 1 year subscription.
What's in the box? On the first of the month, you will get to select from 5 different books.
I didn't know if I would get the same book or a different one.
Book of the Month ships their books wrapped in plastic, so the corners of the book stay in perfect condition.
Every judge includes a card with a message from the judge who selected the book.
Only Love Can Break Your Heart Ed Tarkington $17.74 This book is about the two brothers. Paul almost abandons his little brother in the woods, then shortly after, Paul disappears. Years later, Rocky is a teen who starts a relationship with a woman 10 years older. A double murder occurs and people must deal with the past. It really looks like a great book.
Every book comes with a bookmark.
Final Thought: I am excited to read this book and find out what happens to these brothers. I like that this subscription is affordable and the price per month, is less than what I would have paid on Amazon.
