First Look
EatsieBox sent me a Valentine and one of the paper-folding projects we made in middle school.
Toys There is always a gift/toy in the box and this month had two. Since my 6 year old loves penguins and my 3 year old likes little animals, these are perfect.
Air Heads These were in my box last month, and I ended up eating them all. Since I am on a fitness challenge right now, these are going to be hidden away for my kids.
Krema Nut Company California Mix We have had several snacks in our EatsieBox from this company. This is a combination of dried fruit and nuts. Normally, I would be all about this, but since it has coconut in it (quite a bit), this will go to my dad.
Southeastern Blueberry Muffin Mix I really enjoy getting foods I can make into meals, and not just snacks. You just need milk (or your milk alternative) and this will make around 6 muffins.
Balis Best Coffee Candy We have received these before in a subscription box and my husband really enjoyed them. They are all natural and are made with real coffee. It's a nice hard candy when you need a little pick-me-up.
Valentine's Day Cherry Tootsie Pops These will be gone in a flash. They are a special Valentine's version of the regular sucker.
Panda Cherry Licorice This is free from artificial flavors, colors and preservatives. We had never had this brand before, but it was really good.
Tree Hugger Bubble Gum This gum is made with natural colors and doesn't have any artificial flavors. These were fantastic and I am going to put them in my mini gumball machine.
World Peas Santa Barbara Ranch While I wouldn't normally reach for a bag of green peas for a snack, the ranch flavor makes these more of a “chip” snack than a healthy one. These are still trans fat, cholesterol and gluten free.
Final Thought: I really enjoyed most everything in this month's box. I think EatsieBox does a nice job matching the types of snacks to each box. My favorite snack this month is the bubble gum. I love the same candy my kids like, so making it healthier is a major win in my book. If you want to try EatsieBox, use this link with the code EATSIEMOM and get 50% off your 1st box.
