Okashi Connection Sumo Box January 2016 Review + Coupon

Disclosure: I received this box for review.

Okashi Connection Sumo Box January 2016 Review

Okashi Connection is a Japanese snack box that ships worldwide starting at $14.00/month.   Each box is packed with about a pound of candy.

Okashi Connection changed their boxes and now there are three boxes to choose from: The Ninja Box, The Samuri Box, and The Sumo Box.  The Ninja Box is a bit smaller than the box I normally review.  The Samurai Box is the same size as the box that I have reviewed for several months and the The Sumo Box is much larger.  I was sent the Sumo Box for review, which is the largest box.

First Look

Every box comes with a colorful brochure about all the snacks in the box.

The information booklet has pictures of everything in the box, along with icons to let you know what box each snack is in.

The Ninja box is the smallest box and those snacks are the only ones not in the Sumo box.

BBQ Scone: These are like Cheetos, but BBQ flavored, so good.

Ottotto Consomme:  These little crackers are in various shapes and are hollow in the middle.  They are salty, crunchy and are a favorite among my kids.

Tanoshii Cake-Ya San DIY This is a DIY kit to make your own ice cream,  You mix a powder with water and it turns into a fluffy topping.  We have done this one before and my kids loved it.

Pierre Ojisan No Rollcake:  These are soft cake rolled with filling.  One is strawberry and the other is buttercream.  This is a bit like a fruity Swiss Roll.

Galbo Mini These pieces of chocolate are covered with a thick strawberry candy coating.

Wata-Pachi This is one of my favorite candies.  This is grape cotton candy with pop rocks all through it.

Look 24C Chocolates These chocolates are individually wrapped and are completely made of chocolate.

Chou Himo Q Gumi: This is one long rope of gummie, half is cola and half is soda flavored.

Kaaru Stick Cheese:  These are long puffed snacks, coated in cheese.

Baskin Robbins Choco: The strawberry is coated in chocolate and has little pieces of strawberry inside.  The green is mint flavored with pop rocks inside.

Shimi Corn Choco: These star cookies/puffs taste like chocolate.

Disney Tsum Tsum Cookies:  I love Disney treats and these cookies are each filled with chocolate or strawberry cream.

Kanpai Ramune: This little stein is filled with white candies that dissolve in your mouth.

Poifull Gummi: This look like Jelly Beans, but they are actually gummy inside.

Giant Caplico Z: This ice cream cone is filled with light chocolate filling, with chunks of cookies inside.

Final Thought: This was a another fantastic box.  There were several favorite treats in the box and some we have never tried. If you want to Okashi Connection,  click HERE to subscribe and use the code Boxmom to get $1.00 off your box.
