First Look
All the perfume bottles come in a velvet black pouch. In the bottom of the box, there are paper strips to test the perfumes on. I personally never use them, because I like testing the perfume on myself.
Inside the booklet was each perfume, the retail price of the full bottle and a summary about the company.
Each perfume also came with a little card which listed the scent notes, time of day to be worn, longevity and sillage.
Object Celeste by Parfums Volnay Paris This is a very floral scent with a hint of citrus. It has a long longevity and short sillage. It is best worn during the day, but I think the scent is strong enough for evening. Bergamot, jasmine and peony are the notes I detect the most.
Wild Rose by Thorn and Bloom This is a more musky scent with the anies and tarragon notes easily detectable. I didn't think my husband would like this, but surprisingly he does. This has a long longevity and sillage, so this is strong enough to wear day or night.
Miyako by Auphorie This is a very unique scent. The top notes are apricot and peach, so it's pretty fruity, but the cedar/patchoulo base notes adds a spice. I am not sure if I really love this one.
Final Thought: I really loved the Object Celeste and Wild Rose, they are scents I will wear regularly. I am not too crazy about Miyako, but that's part of the chance of subscription boxes. As you rate and review your scents with Scent Trunk, your preferences will determine your next scents. You can subscribe and use the coupon subboxmom to save $7.00 on your 1st box.
