RocksBox January 2016 Review
RocksBox is a jewelry subscription box that gives you three pieces to wear at a time, for only $19.00/month.
When you sign up for RocksBox, you fill out a style profile with your preferences, then RocksBox mails you out three pieces based on your profile. You wear your pieces for as long as you want, then send them back in the prepaid envelope. You also give feedback about each piece you receive. The more feedback you give, the better your boxes. I have a special code letting you try it FREE for the first month, just read to the end of the review.
RocksBox ships in a polymailer bag. You can reseal this bag and send your items back in the same bag.
Everything comes in a little white box with a pretty pink ribbon. When you return your items, you send them back in this box and ship it back in the bag. There is a return address label always included in your box too.
First Look
There was a card wishing you happy holidays and a little quote.
The card in the box contains a list of all the pieces in the box. They list the insider price is what you can buy the box for. RocksBox gives you $10.00/month to spend on your pieces, so in addition to saving 20% on your retail price, you can save $10.00 on the single item. The shine doesn't roll over, so use it or lose it.
Gorjana Teagan Ring (Insider's Price $64.00) I have had rings like this before and while they are pretty, the ring is a bit too wide to comfortably fit my finger.
This is a look at the ring. I do like the look of it, but it's a bit uncomfortable.
8 Other Reasons, 8 Degrees Ear in Gold 8 Other Reasons (Insiders' Price $12.00) These earrings were my favorite piece in the box. I like the geometric shape and they are a classic look that can be worn with many outfits.
SLATE White Chain Fringe Necklace (Insiders' Price $50.00) This is a fun necklace and this white chains make for an interesting look. I liked wearing this, but making sure all the little chains laid flat drove me a bit batty.
Final Thought: RocksBox is a great subscription for people who love jewelry. I enjoy wearing new pieces, then sending it back for something new.
