One of the best things about this box is the freedom to skip the month's you want (You have until the 5th of the month).  You log into your account at the first of the month and you will see what your box will look like.  You can choose to skip or do nothing and keep the box.  Just a note about this review, I received this box a few days ago, so it's not 2 months late.

First Look

The box comes with a booklets filled with recipes and descriptions of the tools and foods in the box.

This is a look inside the book. Hampton's Lane lists recipes along with items in the box.

Professional Rectangular Tart Pan by Fat Daddio's, Spokane, WA $14.00 This is made of anodized aluminum and the base lifts out to help you serve your tarte.  The scalloped edge will give your tarte a professional look, even if you are just a novice like me.

Custom Pumpkin Pie Spice by RawSpiceBar, Los Angeles, CA $4.00 This is made of cinnamon, ginger, allspice, nutmeg, cloves, mace, star anise, and spices.  You can bake a pumpkin pie with this and use the left over spices in your coffee.

Original Chicken Pie Spice by RawSpiceBar, Los Angeles, CA $4.00 This spice is made with tarragon, sage, white peppercorns, thyme, allspice, black peppercorns, garlic, and marjoram.  Hampton's Lane also included a recipe for chicken and squash pot pie.

Award-winning Whipped Cinnamon Honey by Cloister Honey, Charlotte, NC $8.00 This honey has an added flavor of cinnamon, perfect for biscuits, fruit, oatmeal or Hampton's Lane's Salty Whipped Cinnamon Honey Pie.

Double-sided Pastry Cutter by Fox Run, Ivyland, PA $7.00  I remember watching my grandmother use a similar tool to make her famous cherry pies.  I am not much of a baker, but I really want to make a pie, so I can play with this.

Set of Four Decorative Leaf Presses by Hamptons Lane, New York, NY  $19.00 These have a little button on the other side so you can use these to cute out intricate looking leaves for your pies.

Handmade Sweet Orange Sugar by Terre Botanicals, Phoenix, AZ  This sugar is handmade in Arizona.  It's a fine sugar with just a hint of orange, perfect for a pie or your morning tea.

Essential Ceramic Pie Weights, Ivyland, PA $8.00  You can put these weights in the bottom of your pie crust, and they will keep your pie crust from blistering or shrinking.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $77.00.  As a novice cook.
